Colin Featherstone
Colin Featherstone BSc (Hons) Dip Arb FRICS FCIOB FCIArb MAE QDR(ED) is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 30 years post graduate experience in the construction industry.
Colin commenced his career working for large UK contractors including Dowsett Engineering, Cementation, Costain and then joined LG Mouchel consulting engineers, before setting up his own practise and specialising in claims management. He initially supported several Experts in the UK in both domestic and international arbitrations before becoming a recognised expert and dispute resolver in his own right.
He has worked across Europe and on assignments in South Africa, Sweden, Finland, North Africa, the Russian Federation, the Middle East and Asia.
He is currently a practising Arbitrator, Adjudicator and Expert Determiner, as well as an accredited Expert Witness via the Cardiff University Bond Solon (CUBS) scheme and holds accreditation by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and The Academy of Experts.
He has successfully led and concluded claims on power plants, roads and rail projects (including overhead line electrification, P Way and metro), residential and commercial building, process plants and foul & potable water plant both in the UK and Internationally.
He has prepared Expert Evidence in both Commercial and Criminal proceedings in the UK and in respect of arbitration proceedings in the UK, Jordan, Spain, Taiwan, Malta and Scandinavia.
Consultants are predominantly senior construction professionals with a track record of successful management, often at Board of Directors level.

Proctal Limited is a company registered in England, Qatar, Egypt, and Sweden. Proctal was founded in 1995 and became a Limited UK company in 2005, then expanded internationally in 2009.
CF Associates and Proctal have developed a close association over the past 10+ years and now co-operate in numerous aspects of their work.

Dr Ahmed Awad
Dr Ahmed Awad PhD, MSc, BSc, MCIArb, AEA is a highly skilled Project Manager and forensic planner, RICS Accredited Mediator and Expert.
Ahmed has over 25 years of experience in project management, claim management, planning, forensic delay analysis, economic evaluation & analysis and strategic planning & management. He was the Vice Dean (Part Time) at the Strategic Project Management Institute and visiting lecturer and is an accredited Primavera distributor and trainer.
Ahmed’s expertise developed through involvement in major projects from different industry sectors in Asia, Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East, which coupled with his R&D experience in project management, project finance, macro-economics indicators & polices, and large-scale construction projects, makes him a credible strategy consultant.
